Hummus is one of my favorite dips and the slight variation here is the addition of avocado. The buttery avocado blends well with the other ingredients and makes the dip rich and creamy. We usually use hummus as a spread over bread or wraps. The original hummus recipe can be found here. Off to the recipe.
Hummus with avocado and garbanzo.
- garbanzo - 1 1/2 cups (cooked/canned - chickpeas)
- tahini - 2 tbsp
- olive oil - 2 tbsp
- lemon juice - 1/4 cup - adjust to taste
- garlic - 3 cloves
- salt - to taste
- avocado - 1
Blend all ingredients except avocado. Add avocado and blend again. Serve with crackers, chips, etc.
