This is week 12 of blog hop started by Radhika and this week I am paired with Jyoti of Pages. I am sure everyone would have come across tons of versions of nutella or peanut butter mug cake . I had it on my list so my sister could make it. There is no butter or egg and the brownie was moist out of the microwave. This tastes best when eaten hot out of the microwave as it tends to harden a bit on cooling. Enjoy as is or with a dollop of ice cream. Off to the recipe. Recipe from Pages.
Ingredients
2 tbsp all purpose flour
2 tbsp powdered sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
A pinch of baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1.5 tbsp yogurt
1.5 tbsp milk
1.5 tbsp oil
1 tbsp Nutella
Notes
1. I tried it with peanut butter instead of nutella and reduced the cocoa to 1/2 tbsp and it turned out good.
Method
Take the dry ingredients in a bowl. (All purpose flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda.)
Add vanilla extract.
Add yogurt.
Add milk.
Add oil.
Add nutella.
Mix well.
Ready for microwave.
Pour in a microwave safe cup and place in microwave for 2 minutes. Let it stand for 30 seconds. (It rises while cooking, so use a tall cup.)
Out of the microwave.
Tasty and easy microwave brownie ready.
Another look.
Enjoy!

i love simple, single serving desserts! perfect recipe.
I’ve been testing out various eggless mug cakes and I made your recipe and wrote about it here. This recipe had more ingredients than some microwave eggless cakes that I’ve made. I found that it was somewhere between regular cake and lava cake. Thank you for posting your recipe!
