Kids love pizza and this bread was inspired by this pull-apart bread. Even the word pizza brings smiles to my kids and they were more than happy to munch on this bread. I stuck with just black olives for toppings since that is what my kids like. The bread was soft and the sauce added a ton of flavor to the pizza. It was a super hit at home. Off to the recipe.
Pizza Pull Apart Bread
Pull-apart bread with pizza flavor.
Ingredients:
- For Dough
- bread flour - 3 cups
- yeast - 2 tsp
- sugar - 1/2 tsp
- salt - 1 tsp
- olive oil - 2 tbsp (butter can be used instead)
- milk - 11/4 cup (luke warm)
- For Pizza
- Pizza Sauce - as needed
- Pizza Toppings - as needed
- Cheese - as needed
Instructions:
Make a soft and pliable dough with the dough ingredients. Allow to rise until doubled. Flatten dough and roll into a 12 x 12 rectangle. Spread the pizza sauce, toppings and cheese.
Follow this post and prepare stacks and place in greased loaf pans. Allow to rise again. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for 30 - 40 minutes until the top is golden brown.
