I have to admit that I was not a fan of celery until recently. I used to avoid it at all cost. But, recently the bountiful baskets that I have been buying had bunches of celery in them. Since I hate to waste stuff, I have started trying different recipes with celery with the Indian touch of course.
The Indian touch certainly helped and now I do consider celery in my shopping trips. Celery in my opinion tastes close to banana stem (vazhai thandu) that we absolutely do not get in my area. Either way, I am glad to incorporate celery into our diet. This is a simple stir fry that goes well with rice. Off to the recipe.
