This is a simple chutney that goes well with idli, dosai and so on. I love that it can be prepared in a jiffy and it also tastes great. The recipe is from my mom and is my go to chutney for dosai in particular. Off to the recipe.
Onion Tomato Chutney

Simple chutney with onion and tomatoes.
Ingredients:
- oil - 1/2 tsp
- onion - 1 medium
- tomatoes - 1 small
- red chillies - 2 (adjust to taste)
- salt - to taste
Instructions:
Heat oil and add onions, tomatoes and red chillies. When the onions are cooked turn off the stove and allow to cool.
Take in a blender along with salt and blend well.

3. Allow to cool and take in a blender along with salt.
4. Blend well. Serve with idli, dosa, etc.
Tasty chutney ready.
