For some reason it has always been K’s job to make smoothie’s or lemonade and I just gulp it down
. But on seeing all the summer events I decided to go ahead and make one with the blueberries lying in my freezer. Since it was way too simple I decided to complicate it a little by grinding some peeled almonds
. It is still simple friends and you can omit the almonds altogether.

When the blueberries go on sale I buy a bunch and wash them. Then, pat dry and freeze in a plate. After an hour or so, I gather them and place them in ziploc bags. I use these frozen blueberries in cakes, muffins, pancakes and this time it was smoothies. You can substitute any berry and add other fruits too. Presenting the simple, tasty and healthy smoothie.
