Whole Wheat Parker House Rolls

It happened a year ago when I bought my stand mixer that I fell in love with dinner rolls. I made crescent rolls, bread sticks and these rolls during that time. The dough is essentially the same for all, but different ways to shape it of course.
These rolls were a joy to make and the kids loved it. You can also just use 3 cups of bread flour alone instead of a mix of whole wheat and bread flour. The rolls were soft, pillowy and were the perfect bite-size for little hands.

Make a dough with the ingredients. Place in an oiled bowl and allow to double.
Roll dough into a circle about 1/4 inch thick. Cut into 3 inch circles using a biscuit cutter. Press each biscuit with the handle of a wooden spoon. Press a bit off center as shown in picture.
Fold the biscuit so the top half overlaps the bottom. Place close together on a greased baking sheet and allow to rise again.
Brush with butter. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 15 - 20 minutes until the top is golden brown.
