Jicama Black Bean Salad | Cooks JoyThis is my first attempt with Jicama and salad came to the rescue. Jicama tastes between a turnip and a pear and has a nice crunch to it. You can eat it raw or add to soups, stir-fries, etc.

Jicama Black Bean Salad

Jicama Black Bean Salad.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Mix the ingredients under "dressing" together.

Mix the salad ingredients and pour the dressing over it. Toss well.

2 years ago: Whole Wheat Bread Sticks
3 years ago: 15 Bean Masala Sundal
4 years ago: Cumin Rice (Jeera Rice)
5 years ago: Mango Pickle

1. Mix jicama, black beans, corn, tomatoes and onion.2. Prepare the dressing by mixing lemon juice, olive oil, salt and pepper.3. Pour dressing over the salad.4. Add avocado and toss together.
