Rye bread has been on my list forever and I was waiting to get caraway seeds to try it out. The bread is pretty simple and can be put together quickly. I used a stand mixer to make the dough, but you can knead it by hand or food processor. The caraway seeds add a nice punch and blends well into the bread without overpowering it. The bread is perfect for breakfast and my kiddos loved it too. Off to the recipe. Recipe from book “Make the Bread, Buy the Butter”.

Rye bread.
Make a dough with the ingredients (except egg). Knead until you have a soft and pliable dough. Allow dough to rise.
Form a log and place into the loaf pan and allow to rise. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
Cool and slice.
2. Punch dough down and roll into a log. Place in the loaf pan.
3. Dough has risen. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 35 minutes until the top is golden brown.
4. Out of the oven.
Enjoy!
