Moong Sprout Masala Vadai | Cooks Joy“Vadai” is a deep fried snack made with lentils or legumes. I had some extra sprouts sitting in the fridge and decided to use it for these vadais. This post explains how to make sprouts. If you are pressed for time you can make this recipe with just the soaked moong dal too. Moong Sprouts Masala Vadai

Deep fried fritters with moong sprouts.

Ingredients:

Refer here to make moong sprouts.

Blend sprouts, red chillies, fennel seeds, garlic and salt coarsely. Add cilantro and onion and mix.

Heat oil. Make small balls of the mixture and flatten it. Add the flattened vadais to the oil gently and cook until both sides are golden brown and crispy.
