This was a good year for jalapenos also and after making some condiments and salsa, I was still left with a ton. At the same time, I also realized that although I rely on the spicy Indian chillies, there are some dishes where jalapenos worked out good. So, I decided to freeze them.
You can freeze them whole and then chop them later or chop and freeze. For the most part I used chopped jalapenos and decided to go that route. Off to the recipe.

Freeze jalapenos for later.
Wash jalapenos and slice each vertically. Remove the seeds and membranes and chop coarsely. Pack in ziploc bags and freeze for later.
2. Slice each jalapeno.
3. Remove seeds and membrane.
4. Jalapenos sliced and seeds removed.
5. Chop them up coarsely. I used a food processor.
6. Pack them in ziploc bags and freeze for later.
Enjoy!
