Freezing Jalapenos | Cooks JoyThis was a good year for jalapenos also and after making some condiments and salsa, I was still left with a ton. At the same time, I also realized that although I rely on the spicy Indian chillies, there are some dishes where jalapenos worked out good. So, I decided to freeze them. How to freeze jalapenos | Cooks JoyYou can freeze them whole and then chop them later or chop and freeze. For the most part I used chopped jalapenos and decided to go that route. Off to the recipe.

Freezing Jalapenos

Freeze jalapenos for later.

Ingredients:

Instructions:

Wash jalapenos and slice each vertically. Remove the seeds and membranes and chop coarsely. Pack in ziploc bags and freeze for later.

My Notes
1. Try to not have too much moisture in the jalapenos. Pat dry as needed.
