Tried bread bowls at Panera and wanted to make it at home. Rather than having bread on the side along with soup, this is a cute way to serve soup. Recipe from here.
Bread bowls.
Make a soft and pliable dough with the ingredients and allow dough to double in volume.
Divide dough into 6 pieces. Roll each piece into a ball and allow the balls to rise. Cover with a cloth or cling wrap.
When the balls have puffed up, slash over the balls to form a plus sign. Bake in a preheated 425F oven for about 22 - 28 minutes until the tops are brown.
Using a knife scoop out a portion of the bread from the top to form a bowl. Fill with soup and enjoy.
