This is a flat bread made with whole wheat flour and onions. I tasted this first at my friend’s house and got the recipe from her. Since we add the onions to the dough, there is no stuffing involved. The onions give a mild sweet taste to this yummy bread. We had it with a simple tomato pickle. Off to the recipe.

Tasty flat bread with whole wheat flour and onions.
Mix flour, onion, salt and ajwain. Using water form a dough; allow to rest for 10 minutes.
Divide dough into 12 pieces. Roll each into a paratha as shown in image.
Heat a tawa and place the rolled paratha on it. Flip the paratha and drizzle a tsp of oil. After about a minute or so, flip again and drizzle some oil. When both sides are cooked remove from flame.
2. Mix well.
