I am sure everyone loves simple side dishes that take less time to prepare and still taste great. This fry falls in that category. Can we ever go wrong with garlic? On a visit to a friend’s house, we were served potatoes with garlic. I love ginger flavor in potatoes, but have never tried garlic. Added it to my list and loved the taste. Given that potatoes are so versatile and is one of the vegetables that I can find in abundance in the stores here, this is going to be on the menu quite often.
I used the mandolin slicer to slice the potatoes, but you can just dice them into small pieces if needed. Off to the recipe.

Simple potato fry with garlic.
Heat oil and saute cumin seeds and garlic for a few seconds. Next add potatoes, salt and chilly powder. Sprinkle water and cook. Turn off stove when potatoes are done.
2. Saute for a couple of seconds.
3. Add potatoes, salt and chilly powder. Sprinkle water and allow to cook.
4. Turn off the stove when potatoes are cooked.
Enjoy!
