This is a refreshing and healthy drink after the sinful delight yesterday . I had this a few months ago at my friend’s place and loved it. It brought back some fond memories of what my grandma used to make. She used to beat the yogurt, add water, ginger, curry leaves, coriander leaves and green chillies. A tadka of mustard seeds was also done at times. During the hot summer months we were given the healthy buttermilk to drink and to also mix with rice and eat.
Adding mint and blending with ice was something totally new. So when I got my hands on fresh mint leaves, I had to try it out. I called my friend, got the ingredients and went about making it. We loved it and is perfect for the hot summers. Even my husband who is not a fan of yogurt liked it. Just be careful on the amount of chilly as I added just one tiny chilly and it was way too hot for us. Off to the recipe.

Small piece of chilly (Use a very small piece)
Small piece of ginger
