What has lemonade got to do in the peak of winter? Well, our bountiful basket for the week had some pretty grapefruits in them. Just the mention of the name “grapefruit” made my kids walk away saying that “they are bitter”. Since we love lemonade, I decided to make the same with grapefruit. It did mask the bitterness to a certain extent, but not completely. It is an acquired taste I should say and the adults at home were not bothered a lot by the bitterness. Off to the recipe.
