What do you do with overripe bananas that are lying around? Banana bread of course :) . The overripe bananas that no one cared for at home got transformed into this delicious banana bread. Just one bowl to clean makes this recipe a keeper :) . Recipe from here.

Banana Bread

Easy banana bread.



Preheat oven to 350F and grease a 4 x 8 pan.

In a mixing bowl mash the bananas. Add the melted butter and mix.

Add the baking soda and salt. Mix.

Add sugar, beaten egg, vanilla extract. Mix. Add flour and mix. Fold in chocolate chips if using.

Pour into the greased loaf pan and bake for 50min to an hour until a tooth pick inserted in the center comes out clean.

Remove from oven. Allow to cool and then slice.

My Notes
I used 3 mini loaf pans in a toaster oven. I baked at 250F for 40 min.
