Vadai is a deep fried fritter and is quite addictive. It is usually made with just channa dal, but here I have used soya beans as well. These beans were lying in the pantry for quite sometime and an easy way to finish them off would be to make deep fried snacks that are loved by kids and adults. You can also make a healthy version of this by using the kuzhi paniyaram pan as shown here. There are tons of variations and you can use any legume. Off to the recipe.
