These cute cupcakes were made for my son’s birthday. He requested marble cupcakes and I was all set to make this cake, but had to change to cupcakes at the last minute. I was a bit skeptical on how the swirls would work in a cupcake, but decided to just go ahead since kids will love the cake with or without swirls. This is a tutorial on converting the cake recipe to cupcakes.
As you can see each cupcake turned out different with respect to swirls. Many had quite distinctive swirls that were very pretty. The whipped cream frosting was mildly sweet and the kids enjoyed the cupcakes.
I probably did not swirl this cupcake enough as you can see from the picture. So take the time to swirl each one and enjoy these delicious cupcakes. Off to the tutorial.

Homemade yogurt can be made following this link
Prepare batter as shown here. Place liners in each muffin cup and add about a tablespoon of white batter. Next add about 1/2 - 3/4 tbsp chocolate batter. Top that with about a tbsp of white batter. Swirl each cupcake to get the marble effect.
Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 13 - 16 minutes until a tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Allow cupcakes to cool completely and then frost them.
2. Top it with about 1/2 to 3/4 tablespoon chocolate batter.
3. Top the chocolate with another tablespoon of white batter.
4. Swirl each cup. Bake in a preheated 350F oven for about 13 - 16 min until a tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean.
5. Out of the oven. Frost the cupcakes after they cool down completely.
Enjoy!
