Mushroom Chops (Mushroom Fry)

If you are looking for a simple mushroom recipe, this is the one. Mushrooms were never on my favorite list until I figured the right way to cook them. Indian spices jazz up any dish and mushroom is no exception. The marinade adds a lot of flavor to the mushrooms and this dish goes perfectly with rice or flat bread. It also involves no grinding of spices and that makes this a quick dish. Hope you all enjoy it as much as we did. Off to the recipe.

Tasty fry with mushrooms.
Mix the marinade ingredients. Add mushrooms and allow to sit for 30 minutes.
Heat oil and add fennel seeds. Add onions; when cooked add the marinated mushrooms and pepper powder. Saute on medium flame until the moisture evaporates and the mushrooms are cooked.
Garnish with green onion and serve with rice or roti.
2. Mix to form a paste.
3. Add the mushrooms to it.
4. Mix and allow to sit for half an hour.
5. Heat oil and add fennel seeds.
6. Add onions.
7. Onions are cooked.
8. Add the marinated mushrooms and pepper powder.
9. Saute on medium flame until the moisture evaporates and the mushroom is cooked.
10. Turn off the stove. Season with green onions and serve with rice or roti.
